Stretchable health notes — Ted Nelson's stretchtext over HTTP. Pages are
ordinary markdown in which {{short|long}} marks a stretch: you see
short, hover it and it grows into long in place; a click pins it
open. Currently here:

Credits
Stretchtext is Ted Nelson's, from Dream Machines (1974; the idea dates to
1967). The semantics were proven in cc-stretch
— stretchserve's scanner is a Python port of its parse.ts, and the word
alignment that marks new text follows its rules. All credit for the format
and the reference implementation belongs there.
